Our school is located in Rhone Alpes region, in the east of France, the department of Haute Savoie, in the village of Contamine sur Arve.


HISTORY :

In November 1792, the department became Savoie Mont Blanc
with as capital Chambery. It is remain French department until 1815
it is planned to consult the people before the annexation to french
The creation of the department is relatively new.
It is in fact in 1860 the haute savoie is part of france.


CULTURE
Highly cultural place, haute savoie welcomes you and offers you many visits and discoveries to be made throughout the department.
Religious, historical or industrial, discover churches, religious sites, castles, bridges, and overpasses as well as villages and historic towns of the whole department.

                                              hitch Mégève
 A shuttle with a hitch pair makes the connection between two cable cars to improve traffic flow in the heart of the town of Megeve, in Haute-Savoie. This is a first for the city, already known for its simple sled taxis. During the two weeks of Christmas holidays, as many as 200 people were transported daily.

Alter do Chão, Portugal

GEOGRAPHY
The municipality of Alter do Chão, which has an area of 362 km2, is integrated in Alentejo region.
The climate is sharply Continental and Mediterranean more specifically, characterized by high thermal amplitude, with a very hot and dry summer season (June, July, August and September), and a very cold and rigorous winter (January and February), but with little rainfall.

HISTORY
Alter do Chão was founded as a municipality in 1232, in the reign of King Sancho II,
John I donated Alter do Chão, the Constable Nuno Álvares Pereira. With the marriage, in 1401, the daughter of Nuno Álvares Pereira, d. Beatriz Pereira de Alvim with Duke Afonso I of Braganza, Alter do Chão enters the landlord of the House of Braganza. Under the patronage of this House was created and built the convent of Santo António (now the Hotel Convento de Alter), having been Alter, in 1617, the Duke D. Theodosius II and his son John, Duke of Barcelos and future King John to launch of the first and second stone.
With the purpose to provide horses for the Royal sting, is founded on Coutada Arneiro the Coudelaria de Alter, in 1748, with the Actual designation Herds.

The Council takes note of progress at the end of the 18th century, patent in the works undertaken in the village, which allowed the improvement of living conditions.
